Rock/Pop Piano

Many of our students enjoy listening to popular songs as they work, drive, exercise or relax. We wholeheartedly support our students' desires to incorporate their personal musical tastes into their piano practice time, and we take pleasure in assisting them in choosing pieces that, while suiting their level of musical ability, also bring satisfaction as they play. For those who hope to play in bands or other ensembles, learning to read "charts" is essential. Working through pieces that enhance sight-reading skills is an essential element of success in playing with other musicians. Please ask us about the variety of experiences that are available to those who wish to play in any sort of musical combination.
